As I was going through the usual routine of giving my 1yo her bath, she tossed her rubber away, looked up at me and said 'Mama'... which then I looked at her suprised coz she stood up and took a giant step out of her baby tub and grasp at my knees for support and pointed to the shower.
I nearly doubled over. Literally.
Well obviously I was a little terrified at the thought coz she was always freaked out by the shower and the buzzing sound it made (thanks to the water heater) and she would wail and scream with fright.
But that didnt happen at all. As i turned the shower on, she took a few steps towards the water and giggled with glee. Of course I got all wet in the process but it sure was fun to see her having a blast.
Guess I can toss the rubber ducky good bye now eh?
